3 Quia	Play battleships to test your knowledge of pets. This also helps you to use 'ein' and 'kein'.

5 Quia	Flashcard activity with sound. Listen to each sentence and say which pet is pictured on the back of the flashcard. If you get it wrong, leave the card in the pack. Remove the card from the pack if you get it right.

7 Quia	Do you like pets? This matching game practises plurals, likes and dislikes.
8 Quia	Matching game for the numbers 32-41 and the plural of rabbit and guinea pig. Nouns which end with -chen do not change in the plural.

QCA	Download a scheme of work for German (non statutory). Choose from drop-down list. The 2000 Scheme of Work has been re-written and extended. Units 1-12 are for Years 3-4, units 13-24 for Years 5-6.
	Nacell website: national advisory centre on early language learning.
	The Teacher Resource Exchange (TRE) is a moderated database of resources and activities created by teachers. Resources are free to use and you can also add your own resources to share with other teachers.
WGFL	Warrington Grid for Learning - Free primary resources including a free German and French course by Janet Lloyd (AST) with PowerPoint presentations, support with new KS2 framework, further links and ideas.
